Amateur Radio Operator for almost 20 years. Hani Raad started in 1981 under OD5YU - Second op and soon got his own call OD5RH (Robin Hood) and operated out of Tripoli, Lebanon till 1988 before leaving to Washington, DC for higher Education. In Washington, Hani held N3IWM and then AA3EI after upgrading to Extra. Hani was heavily involved in Amateur Radio Emergency Service and was appointed on multiple occasions as ARRL ARES coordinator and DC RACES officer for various periods. Graduated in 1994 from the George Washington University as Electrical Engineer, Hani started his career working for LCC international, a Global Leader in wireless Network Design. In Dec. 1998 Hani moved back to Lebanon as Director for Middle East/Africa and Turkey representing LCC in the region.
